- hi all.
- this is difficult to discribe.
-
- When i open a file requester from a program to load a file from a program
- screen, somewhere between the file name and the size i see a lot of
- garbage characters like '@#||{|||' and when i click on the requester to
- activate it and choose a file, it all disapears.
- this also happens in term4.5 (and has been happening to me with term
- since the earliest version) when I download a file, it does not tell me how
- many bytes have been transfered as it should. and i get similar
- characters in that little window.
-
- and when i use REORG 3.11 , it does not tell me how much is being cached,
- or the percent fragmented, i get those same characters,
- all the programs work, i just can't see any of what it's doing. :(
-
- i assume it's some library file or version that I am not supposed to be
- using?
-
- I have a A2000/PP040/28Mhz, 32 megs,
- dataflyer scsi/ide combo with a MAxtor 540/ and a seagate 1.2 gig
- flicker fixer, dkb Multistart w1.3 and 2.05/2.1, dkb Megachip w/2meg Chip
-
- I am using amidock, nickprefs, Magic Workbench, crossdos, silicon menus,
- ARQ1.83, Smenu, sysihack.
-
- any insught to this mystery would be greatly appreciated....
- thanks to all in advance..
